OUR MISSION

The mission of the Adventist Community Services Center (ACSC) is one of compassion, to provide assistance to those in need in the community of Lancaster.

Its function is to extend emergency food, and clothing assistance and making aid available to those it determines are eligible, without reference to race or religious affiliation.

DO YOU NEED ASSISTANCE?

Our ultimate goal is to relieve your suffering by:
  • Providing Clothing
The ACSC Clothing Ministry.  This ministry is open at the same time as our Food Ministry.  The ACS Center is staffed by volunteers that collect, sort, mend, and wash clothing and distribute on tables and store-type racks. Shoes, pocket books, sheets, towels and other household goods are available as well.
  • Providing Food
The ACSC Food Ministry is available to provide food for single individuals, couples and families within Lancaster.  It carries food products (frozen, canned, and packaged).

HOW YOU CAN HELP?

Donation Drop Off
The donation bin is always open. It is located in the back of the community service building.  Drop off your items at any time with our thanks. We are not able to accept microwaves, TVs, large appliances, large furniture, beds, or mattresses.

As a courtesy to our elderly volunteers who have difficulty moving large items, please do not leave donations in oversized bags, boxes, or tubs.

Donations are tax deductible. To receive a receipt leave a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your donation or drop your donations off during store hours.

Become a Volunteer
We very much needs volunteers!
Please contact the director, Jeannine Coltey at  jccoltey@gmail.com or show up on Tuesdays from 9am - 12pm.
